Extra Curricular Clubs and Activities
We are committed to offering a wide range of extra curricular clubs both during the school day and after school. The majority of these clubs are led by a dedicated member of school staff and are run voluntarily and at no cost to parents. A few clubs are led by an external provider and these will incur a charge paid directly to the provider. The school does not look to profit from these arrangements as our aim is to broaden the opportunities and experiences available to pupils. Please refer to the autumn term club programme below.
All clubs are allocated on a first come first served basis. If the club is full, children will be placed on a waiting list and given first refusal if someone drops out.
If your child is interested in attending a club, please email with your child’s name, class, the club they would like to attend, together with your emergency contact details. Alternatively, if you are unable to email, please ring the school office before lunchtime to confirm. Where there is a fee, arrangements are indicated below*. Unless delivered by third party providers, clubs are provided voluntarily by the teachers and are free of charge. After school clubs run from 3.30 to 4.30pm; please ensure prompt pick up at 4.30pm. As with all activities at Llansannor, all clubs are aimed at both boys and girls.
All clubs will start week beginning Monday 9th September. Clubs provided by school staff are run voluntarily and staff are committed to spending time with the children in their specific areas of interest. They will only be cancelled reluctantly and in unforeseen circumstances.
Mrs Petty, Mrs Miller and Mrs Prosser will share provision of a lunchtime traditional games and homework club which will be available on a drop-in basis from 12.30pm most days. Our after school childcare club continues to run every day 3.30-5.30pm and is operated by ‘Simply Out of School’, telephone 07860 279863 to book.
All queries should be directed to Mrs J Hughes, the school's Clubs Organiser.
